why, hello there!
Expression: "To make ourselves known and understood; to exchange our feelings, our thoughts."
To express ourselves is one of the greatest desires as humans and one that has motivated me from a young age to do many things. As a kid I loved to draw. As a teen, I learned to play the guitar, and further desire for creativity that led me to The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, graduating with a Visual Communication Degree.
During my stay at FIDM, I bought my first camera, which so happened to be a Canon camera. Photography became a hobby that kept me sane through my rigorous school schedule. Consequently, I learned to capture expression through this newfound hobby. It did not take long to marry my hobby. As expressions of joy, excitement, love, and peace found their way into my photos, it became apparent that I had found my calling. It took a special trigger to realize this is what I will spend my life doing.
I’ve now been wedding photographer for 13 years…
and I still love what I do.

When my camera is down and the computer is off, I’m most likely going to be with my wife drinking boba and hanging out with our daughter, Ryleigh, and our Aussie-doodle, Ula.
FUN FACT!
I, honestly, wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for my amazing supporting wife .
During my wedding photography career, my wife has always been my biggest support and I owe everything to her. She encouraged me to chase my dream, and still does ‘til this day. She pushes me to become not only a better photographer, but an individual and supports me in any way for me to continue my passion.
So, special shoutout to the wife for being my everything!

8 years into my wedding photography career and after I purchased my first camera. I received an opportunity to join the marketing team at the company that helped jumpstart my photography career, Canon U.S.A. Inc.
I’m still currently employed by Canon U.S.A. as a full-time Creative Evangelist and also one of a few ambassadors to represent Canon U.S.A. as a photographer and videographer.
